Running up to Spring Festival, the Embassy of China in Iceland embraced the Chinese New Year 2024 with the Chinese communities in Iceland. On 7th February, Ambassador He Rulong visited the representatives of overseas Chinese, students and faculty of the Northern Light Confucius Institute in Iceland. Ambassador He exchanged views with them, and conveyed greetings for the Spring Festival.

     Ambassador He thanked them for contributing to people to people exchanges between China and Iceland in the past year, encouraged them to follow the development of the motherland and promote exchanges between China and Iceland in their respective fields in the new year. He said that the embassy will continue to act on the commitment of serving the people through diplomacy and serve people well. Ambassador He also presented them with the "Embracing the Chinese New Year 2024" gift packages meticulously prepared by the Embassy.

     Representatives of overseas Chinese, students and faculty of the Northern Light Confucius Institute thanked the ambassador for conveying the thoughtful well wishes from the motherland, and said they would continue to study and work hard to promote China-Iceland friendship. They all wished their motherland and fellow countrymen peace and prosperity for the new year.
