From January 28th to February 4th, the Chinese Embassy in Iceland held a series of events marking Spring Festival Cultural Week to celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year of Dragon, which includes Embassy Open Day, China Museum Day, Library Handcraft Day, Chinese Restaurant Day, “Moments in China” photo exhibition and 2024 Happy Chinese New Year Wu Opera Show.

Ambassador He Rulong attended the above-mentioned events and had cordial conversations with attendants. He also introduced China’s economic development and China-Iceland  cooperation on tourism among others.

All these events are open to the general public, as a way to introduce the beauty of the Chinese culture and nurture an atmosphere of Spring Festival. As the finale of the Spring Festival Cultural Week, the Troupe of Zhejiang Wu Opera Art Research Institute will stage a 2024 Happy Chinese New Year Wu Opera Show on the coming Sunday.
