On May 30th, Ambassador He Rulong visited Viðskiptablaðið (VB) and had an exchange of view with editor Trausti Hafliðason.

Ambassador He introduced the latest economic situation in China. He said after COVID-19, the Chinese economy has shown a strong momentum of recovery, and China’s huge market is increasingly favored by all parties. Ambassador He spoke positively of VB’s reports on China’s economy and the first China-Iceland Live Stream Week, with a hope that Viðskiptablaðið will continue to play its role in promoting China-Iceland business cooperation.

Mr. Trausti Hafliðason welcomed Ambassador He and briefed him on the current development of Viðskiptablaðið. Viðskiptablaðið is willing to further strengthen exchanges with the Embassy with a view to learning more about China’s economy.
