On August 22, Ambassador He Rulong met with CEO Friðbert Friðbertson, Chairman of the Board Jón Eiriksson, CFO and Managing Director of After Sales Halldór Bjarkar Lúðvígsson of HEKLA, and Sales Manager Tong Fei of China’s Great Wall Motor.

Ambassador He spoke positively of the cooperation between HEKLA and China’s Great Wall Motor, and was pleased to see more exchanges between the two countries in the field of new energy vehicles. He believed the Chinese new energy vehicles will surely make contributions to energy conservation and emission reduction in Iceland.

Mr. Friðbertson spoke highly of the development of new energy vehicles in China, and said that China has a huge market in this area. HEKLA is willing to maintain cooperation with Chinese enterprises to help them expand business in Iceland.
