Icelandic Chinese Trade Council Holds Conference

May 26, Icelandic Chinese Trade Council held a conference marking the 40thanniversary of the establishment of bilateral diplomatic relations.Minister of Foreign Affairs and External Trade Mr. Skarphéðinsson and Ambassador Su Ge were invited to speak respectively.

Both the Minister and Ambassador spoke highly of the friendship and cooperative relations between the two countries in the last 40 years. Both believe that the cooperation in the fields of trade, finance, geothermal technology, etc, are meritorious to the two countries and have good prospects for further development.

Around 200 people including Icelandic government officials, business leaders and entrepreneurs attended the conference.
