August 1-6, delegation of China Earthquake Administration, headed by Director General Mr. Chen Jianmin, paid a visit to Iceland.

　　Accompanied by Ambassador Su Ge and Counselor Yin Shuming, Mr. Chen and his delegation visited Icelandic Meteorological Office and met with Director General of IMO, Dr. Árni Snorrason. Both sides exchanged views and shared experience on earthquake monitoring, emergency rescue and other related issues.

　　The delegation also visited ICE-SAR and areas near the erupted volcano Eyjafjallajökull.
