Ambassador Zhang Weidong Holds Reception for the 10th China-Iceland Joint Commission Meeting

On 20th April 2015, Ambassador Zhang Weidong held a reception for the 10th China-Iceland Joint Commission Meeting, which took place in Iceland on the same day. Ambassador Zhang spoke highly of the common understandings and achievements made in this meeting, saying that China-Iceland Free Trade Agreement and the Iceland’s prospective founding membership of Asia Infrastructure Investment Bank have brought new development opportunities to China-Iceland economic and trade cooperation. He wished that business circles of both sides take opportunities to work together and push forward bilateral economic and trade cooperation to gain more achievements, thus making greater contributions to bilateral friendly relations.

More than 40 guests from competent authorities and enterprises of China and Iceland attended the reception. Attendees warmly exchanged views in a friendly and cordial atmosphere.
