On April 12, Chinese Ambassador Jin Zhijian visited Iceland Review and met with Editor Gréta Sigríður Einarsdóttir and Publisher Golli. Kjartan Þorbjörnsson to discuss about future cooperation.

Ambassador Jin asked in details about the recent development of Iceland Review. He pointed out that recent years had seen increasing Chinese tourists to visit Iceland. The people to people and tourism exchanges between China and Iceland have become increasingly active. The Embassy is willing to strengthen the cooperation with Iceland Review by providing Safe Travel Tips in Iceland for Chinese tourists, and promoting Iceland as a tourism destination of rich history, diversified culture and attracting community.

Ms. Einarsdóttir welcomed Ambassador Jin's visit to Iceland Review. She introduced that Iceland Review was purchased by the group several years ago with a brand new editing team. The magazines were distributed in important government departments, institutions and airports, and received warm welcome from the locals as well as tourists. Iceland Review would like to keep close contact with the Embassy and work together to enhance understanding of the Chinese people towards Iceland.

With focus on editorial articles and landscape photos, the new version of Iceland Review provides the readers with a unique approach to learn about the natural beauty and community of Iceland.
